Obituary

Una Grey Parks Rhea entered her heavenly home on October 4, 2017
surrounded by her loving spouse of 58 years Richard Kent (Dick) Rhea and her 3 devoted daughters Ginnie Halling ( Kevin), Sherry Lindsey ( Tony) and Teresa Gregory (Scott) and her beloved sisters.

Una was born in Crummies, KY on November 12, 1935 and then moved to Chicago, IL after marrying Kent July 17, 1959. They moved to Bowling Green, KY in 1978.

Una worked at Greenview Regional Hospital as a receptionist before retiring at age 63.
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Brian Halling ( Michelle), Meagan Halling, Zachary Lindsey, Alex Lindsey, Lucas Lindsey, Lauren Houchin and Ali Gregory.

She is also survived by sisters Eva Hurt (Don), Jan Underwood (Lyn), Donna Railey (Bobby), Sharon Doepel (Ray) and Ginger Osborne as well as many nieces and nephews.

Una was preceded in death by her parents Gray and Elease Parks. Six sisters Jean Dickinson, June Owens, Norma Bryant, Kay Parks, Patsy Parks, Karen Parks and one brother Charles Parks.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.

Family requested NO fresh cut flowers and Expressions of Sympathy may be made to the Hospice House of Southern Ky.
