Obituary

Sue Carol (Penders) Christian, 76, of Bowling Green entered into rest Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Greenview Regional Hospital. Sue was born April 22, 1942 in Bowling Green. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Christian, Sr., her parents James Floyd and Cora Bell Peyton Penders, and a sister Patricia Penders.

Sue was a member of Greenwood Park Church of Christ and retired from Holley Carburetor. She was a former member of Holley’s golf and bowling teams, also Southern Lanes couples/women’s bowling leagues. Sue was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include two sons Bruce Christian, Jr. (Traci Skinner Christian) of Nashville, TN, Marc Christian (Stephanie) of Panama City, FL, and a daughter Tami Crain of Bowling Green. Sister Brenna Kaelin (Darryl) of Louisville and a brother Bobby Dugger of Bowling Green. Eight wonderful grandchildren Terri Lynn Davis (Brian), Amber Renee Christian, Jordan Lanae Crain (JB), Brett Christian, Jeffery Christian, Alexis Christian, Jaeden Crain and Nathen Christian. Four wonderful great-grandchildren Gracie Davis, Aniyah Brown, Brody and Hayden Davis. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive and life long brother/friend Jimmy Gott.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery #1.

In lieu of flowers expressions may be made to American Heart Association or BGWC Humane Society.
