Robert Glenn "Bobby" Coakley age 50 of Bowling Green, died at his residence at 6:42 am Friday, November 10. The Panorama City, California native was a student at the Southern Kentucky Technical College training to be an Electronic Technician, attended Warren Central High School, graduating in 1986, , he enjoyed watching WKU games, Denver Broncos football, fishing, hunting and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Bobby had a kind spirit and never met a stranger. He enjoyed life, telling stories, being with loved ones, including his beloved pets, Nakita and Butterball. Preceding him in death is his father, Robert Emmet Coakley. Bobby had chosen cremation, with wishes for his ashes to be spread in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Survivors include his mother, Glenda Fitzhugh Coley of Bowling Green. A son, Austin Coakley of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Pam Lam her husband Jon and Tina Coakley-Axley both of Bowling Green. Two nieces Michelle Lashbrook and Chelsea Allen: nephew, Gavin Lam, several great nieces and a great nephew, all of Bowling Green and many cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5 pm Thursday November 16, with visitation with the family from 3 to 5 pm at the Hillvue Heights Chapel on Nashville Road.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Funeral Chapel,
