Obituary

Richard Craig Cunningham, age 59, passed away Friday May 10, 2019 at his residence in Bowling Green, KY.

The Murfreesboro, TN native was the son of the late Buddy Clark Cunningham and Charolene W. Burden who survives.

Craig was a 1978 graduate of Warren Central High School, attended Western Kentucky University and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He was a longtime employee of the Jerry E. Baker Foundation and museum director of the Downing Museum until his retirement. He was an avid fine art collector, a passionate traveler and loved Bluegrass music. He also enjoyed social functions with a wide circle of friends.

He is survived by his mother Charolene W. Burden (Isaiah) his stepfather Phil Grogan (Donna) two brothers Christopher L. Cunningham (Missy) and Charles C. Cunningham (Denise) and one sister Brandy M. Hargis (Tim), nieces Jessica I. Cunningham, Alex K. Broce, Lauren T. Gomez (Joseph) and Halie C. Cunningham and one nephew Wyatt Hargis.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and Thursday May 16, 2019 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 16, 2019 at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.
