Euel Edward “Ed” Hurt, 82, of Bowling Green entered into rest Thursday, November 30, 2017 at The Medical Center. Ed was born December 11, 1934 in Willow Shade, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents R. Denver and Zella A. Hurt, a brother Philip R. Hurt.

Ed was retired from Northrop-Grumman and Member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict from 1953 until 1955. Ed loved bowling, genealogy and yard work.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years Margaret Thoma Hurt, son R. Kenneth Hurt of California, daughter Mary Jane “Janie” Fogel and husband (Gerry) of Foresthill, CA, two wonderful grandchildren Chelsie and Cody Stegemiller of California, brother Charles Garyon Hurt and wife (Mary) of Crescent City, IL, sister-in-law Linda Hurt of Gilman, IL, a niece and nephews also survive.

Funeral will be Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Monday 9:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
