Obituary

Edith "Lorain" Cline, 70, passed on to her heavenly home on May 14, 2017. She lived her life with a strong devotion to her family and a firm faith in God. She had a heart for southern gospel music and was her grandkid's biggest cheerleader. Lorain was born to the late Raymond and Ruby Turner on September 28, 1946. She loved the Lord from an early age and spent her life serving Him.

Lorain married her best friend, Terry Cline, on October 30, 1964. They've spent the last 52 years loving God and each other. Lorain was blessed with 3 children, Richard, Kevin, and Penny, who were her absolute joy. She was Nana to 6 grandkids: Dexter, Rachel, Lindsey, Madison, Connor, and Lily. As her family grew with daughter-in-laws, Karen and Ellen, and grandkids, her heart continued to grow.
Lorain opened her heart and home to many children and families through the years. Every child became a part of her family. This was never a job to her, but a calling.

In addition to her immediate family, Lorain is survived by 5 siblings: Jean Simmons of Bowling Green, Ky, Maxine Gibson of Brandenton, FL, Wayne Turner (Janet) of Bowling Green, KY, Gladys Baker (Bill) of Bowling Green, KY, and Alene Banks (Ron), of Texas, one sister-in-law, Mady Cline of Bowling Green, Ky.
