Obituary

Dr. Jack Michael Schock, age 80, passed away Friday November 6, 2020 at his residence in Bowling Green, KY.

The Hiawatha, Kansas native was the son of the late Jack and Clara Schock. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Schock.

Jack was a retired professor at Western Kentucky University, he received his doctoral degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Jack was devoted to the archeology of Kansas, New York and Kentucky.

He is survived by his son Jacky Schock (Janie) of Russellville, Ky, daughter Sandra Smith (Terry) of Plant City, Fl, daughter Nalia Schock and son Angel Schock both of Bowling Green, Ky, brother Dave Schock (Mary) of Holton Ks, sister Jane Ploeger (Vince) of Hiawatha, Ks, sister Judy Chadwell (Steve) of Olathe, Ks and a granddaughter Teri Elizabeth Smith of Plant City, Fl.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM and Thursday from 9:30 AM- 10:00 AM with Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in the Bowling Green Gardens.
