Obituary

Dana Jill Uveges Cooper, 50, died in Destin, Florida on September 29, 2018. Born on October 3, 1967 in Findlay, OH. She was the daughter of Dr. Joseph Uveges and his wife, Martha of Louisville, KY and Sara Uveges of Bowling Green, KY.
Dana’s joy and passion in life was to give to and care for others. Whether she was overseeing a church nursery, helping bank customers, taking kids on service missions, volunteering as a fireman, working as an EMT, baking amazing and delectable cakes, preparing delicious meals, she was happiest when she was doing for others. She enjoyed the quest for a bargain or a great deal. Her beloved pets were spoiled rotten. She loved to travel, especially if a beach was involved. She was devoted to her family and friends. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday because it allowed her to give thanks for the people in her life whom she loved. She took great pride in decorating her home throughout the year and making it a welcoming place for everyone. Her smile and laughter brightened our lives.
She is survived by her children Kimberly of Hendersonville, TN and Dean of Bowling Green; companion, Brad Harper and his two sons, Wyatt and Morgan of Bowling Green; brother Mike Uveges (Nancy) of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Steve Uveges (Hope) of Charlotte, NC; sister Katherine Hays (Gary) of Cloumbus, OH; nieces Regan, Kristi and Rachel and nephews Mason, Nick and Aaron; aunt Marie Holt of Stow, OH; aunt Arlene White of Salisbury, MD; cousins Carrie Overfield (Jon) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and David Holt (Michelle) of Stow, OH and many friends , both nearby and far away.
