Obituary

Betty Ann Burns Wyatt, 81, of Bowling Green entered into rest Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Bowling Green, KY. Betty was born in Ashland, Kentucky on December 19, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy J. Wyatt, her parents Elbert and Ruth Burns. One brother Bill Burns, one sister Jane Lee Hans.

Betty was a Warren Co. resident and was a retired vice-president from Bowling Green Bank and Trust. She was a graduate of Kentucky Banking Institute and Leadership Bowling Green. She served on the board of directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Girls Club, Builders Auxillary, Western Kentucky Museum and was a member of the Ambassadors at the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. Betty was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include 3 sons, Dennis W. Wyatt, Sammy M. Wyatt (Karen) and Michael R. Wyatt all of Bowling Green. One brother Elbert G. “Bud” Burns, Jr. of Rittman, OH. 5 Grandsons Brian Wyatt (Anita) of Monticello, KY, Jason Wyatt (Ashley) of Louisville, KY, Jeremy Wyatt (Melanie), Jay Wyatt (Nicole) and Brad Wyatt (Ann) all of Bowling Green. 10 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two special pets “Patches” and “Minnie”.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.
